Two years ago, my mother had to be moved to a memory care assisted living facility because she was slowly becoming unable to care for herself anymore. It was very dismaying for her and us. Fortunately, my sister found a place that also took my mothers cats. To help my mother with transitioning to her new life phase, I started to do a postcard for her every day. This turned into a huge project and over 300 to date. At first I started doing cat portraits but then time constraints and a need to be more creative led to some interesting postcards. I am still doing them but not posting them daily like I used to, mainly because I felt that not very postcard needed to be shared. I may change my mind and start posting again, but for now here are some of the highlights…..
