I am a little behind in posting my sketches.  Here’s my sketch done in a new park in Patchogue during this past Wednesday evening’s sketch night with my sketch group.

Chillin’ at Harpoon Henry’s

  

Here’s are mixed media critters that I did on wood. The chick is a character. He didn’t quite come out like I sketched him. This guy took on a whole different persona and much to my delight, his own personality….the second photo is an elephant and it’s amusing how many people think he looks sad. Both of these critters came from original sketches I did in my sketchbooks.

Tugboat in Port Jeff NY, it started to rain so the raindrops are part of the sketch….:not sure what that woolly covering is all about.  Sometimes when living on Long Island, you forget that it is an island we live on….like Roy Schieder quotes on Jaws

Hooper: Well, uh, it doesn’t make much sense for a guy who hates the water to live on an island….. 

Brody: It’s only an island if you look at it from the water.
