Sktchy #64

“Just ducky.” The paper I used is terrible for Tombows…..I had to stop before it broke down. It can’t take many layers…..

Sketching from the car this afternoon. Most of these were in Georgia….once we hit Florida it was a free for all…sheesh….some people should not be driving! One guy from Missouri was cutting people off so close he nearly caused three accidents and it was in a construction zone. What a jerk. It’s a littleContinue reading “#63 sketching in the car”

#62…..Mack

Mack is our long haired chihuahua who looks like what my husband descibes as a “fluffermuffin.” As John says, it’s Lento language…. Mack’s father is a long haired Chi and he and Chloe share the same mother, who is a smooth coated Chi…..which makes Mack look like a swiffer duster. He didn’t quite get theContinue reading “#62…..Mack”

# 61 Sktchy

#60

“Tea pot kitty” was sketched tonight at the library. This tea pot is adorable and the hole for the spout is in the arm. I had to look at it closely to find the opening. I like sketching tea cups and tea pots.

The chair has moved to the living room for now. We may have to use it once GoT season 7 comes on this Spring. MaybeContinue reading “Today’s Sktchy #56”

Billy Joel Concert and today’s Sktchy

Last night, John and I attended the Billy Joel concert at Madison Square Garden. I haven’t seen ol’ Billy in concert since the early ’80’s. I managed to do a few sketches which I am happy about. I used a Pilot Mini fountain pen that had not waterproof ink in it so I hadContinue reading “Billy Joel Concert and today’s Sktchy”

Fountain pen maintenance day

Fountain pens must either be used daily or they need to be flushed weekly. Today was flushing day…..shamefully, a few pens needed a cold bath today….however, all are well and happy now. Today, I took a J Harbin mini fountain pen on a road test. After I flushed it I filled it and used itContinue reading “Fountain pen maintenance day”
