Today is a day I spend cooking. Our turkey is in the oven and I have to baste it every 30 minutes. I have a wonderful recipe that I have been using for several years now and it makes the turkey yummy every time. I also use my grandmothers stuffing recipe. I wrote it downContinue reading “Happy Thanksgiving!”

Keeping it simple this morning
I only had a few minutes to sketch this morning….did this quickly and then jumped in the shower. Inspiration from Sktchy. Enjoy and have a great Saturday!
Morning sketch and…

The book I am working on is 4.5 x 6. I also have a 6×9 I am working on as well. I paintContinue reading “Morning sketch and…”
And last but not least
The front cover is another doll from the attic. Her hat was in one container and she was in another. It’s a porcelain doll. Sketches from this evening’s anatomy sketch night
We had a bunch of real and faux bones and skeletons this evening for sketch night. I sketched the Chihuahua skeleton I found in Target. They look almost like dinosaurs, lol.
Horses and yesterday’s Inktober Sketch
I spent over a week researching and working on this map that I did as a very belated Sketchbook Skool Assignment. I was away when the class was “in session” and I mulled over ideas and nothing really inspired me until I saw they were requesting maps for Asia. Then I had to mull thatContinue reading “Horses and yesterday’s Inktober Sketch”
