As predicted I am already winging it. I used a reference photo from Sktchy but since the Prompt for today is “round,” I made the girl’s head round instead of oval.

I am doing the 50 Friendly Faces Challenge. This is actually Day 2 and I found out about it today so I’ll double back on the end to do Day 1. Today was mustaches…I am using this challenge to practice my gouache skills. This image from my sketchbook has not been digitally touched up.

Flowers and Ink

Haphazard Flowers
I was on a Zoom this evening with Carla Sonheim and a few other artists. Carla had some flowers that she encouraged us to draw via blind contours and I randomly placed them around the page.
