Today’s sketch
Today’s sketch is a bit different. I tried a minimalist/monochrome approach by using one pan pastel color. Then I brushed on a medium to keep the pastel in place. This is “Alone” 9×9
Tonight’s Sktchy is “out of this world”
The weekend challenge for Sktchy this weekend is “space.” I was going to do the moon until I found a photo of outer space….it was black and white so I took a few liberties by adding color. This is called “Cosmos” Pastel with a splash of white acrylic paint on multimedia pastel board.
Today’s Sktchy is not a sketch….
“Nocturnal Palm” I have painted palms and other trees nocturnally many times….the most fun was painting around midnight after a night out….lol….the local cops must have thought those crazy artists with the lights on their heads were nuts….the best part of plein air painting is painting nocturnes…..
