Inktober Day 30 – Ominous/Monster Mash Part 1

I follow Sketchbook Skool and they do weekly YouTube gatherings where you sketch along with Danny Gregory. I am not always able to attend but yesterday was Monsters for Halloween. I had to do that one! I wasn’t able to finish these yesterday because I was working on a project but I finished them today on a Zoom happy hour.

This page is Dracula and the Bride of Frankenstein. Good oldies!

The background ink is a sample of Sailor Ink Studio 123. All those background colors came from that ink.

The sketchbook is homemade with Fabriano Artistico watercolor paper

Inktober Day 28 – Float

My Inktober sketchbook is finally full. I started with the Little Witch Series back in 2018 and used that sketchbook only for the Little Witch drawings. Now that it’s full, I have moved over to my Innovative Journaling Halloween Journal, which is appropriate. This journal is perfect for my Little Witch series and yes, those are skulls dangling from it. It freaking rocks and it’s refillable. It comes with Arches text wove paper which I’ll report back on how it performs. Today’s sketch with the Arteza brush pens scumbled a bit but I used that to my advantage. I tried the dragon floating on his back, though I did think about doing a side view. I used my dog for positioning the feet.😂

Inktober Day 27 – Musk

Perfumes that contain Musk are like catnip for dragons.

I sketched this from the car and this is the last page in the sketchbook. Now I need to see if I have another 4×6 sketchbook or I’ll have to make one.

Also, I have included the gaggle of dragons that live in my house.

Inktober Day 23 – RIP

I don’t know if this prompt was RIP or rip but I took it as RIP. Also, I confirmed with my sister that my mom is receiving these. I am glad because I was a little worried that she wasn’t getting them because of the lockdown in her facility.

I think the image needs no explanation.
