Inktober Day 23 – RIP

I don’t know if this prompt was RIP or rip but I took it as RIP. Also, I confirmed with my sister that my mom is receiving these. I am glad because I was a little worried that she wasn’t getting them because of the lockdown in her facility.

Inktober Day 20 – Double Prompt

There are many lists out there for Inktober.

There is the Official Inktober list. Then there is the They Draw and Travel, They Draw and Garden and They Draw and Cook. There is also Drawloween. In my humble opinion, Draw-loween has the best list because it’s a tradition monster list. I think I’ll do Drawloween next year because I love Halloween.

This post is combining the prompt of “coral” (Inktober) and “bird house.” (TDAG) I thought of the dragonet interacting with a cardinal aka coral bird. Ok so it’s a stretch but red and coral are in the same color family. I did a plein air painting a few years ago of birdhouses so I pulled from that for this sketch. I am also including the pencil drawing so you can see how I start these.

I used a dip pen and a brush for this ink sketch and then popped some color.

Inktober Day 18 – Marty

Going rogue today and using my morning blob sketched with ink as my Inktober for the day….I had an assignment to describe a character in 25 words or less and although I had a different one already to go, this guy was very pushy and demanded a chance to be developed.

The dragon is out chasing squirrels….
