Feel free to post any ideas for what you would like my holiday theme to be. I will probably start the sketchbook this week to prep the pages,Continue reading “More zombie spreads”

Innocent? Or not?
Kinda perky for being creepy, lol! A reminder to come see our sketchbook show at the Patchogue Medford Library! The sketch below was done this morning using a Sktchy reference photo. I love the color, would love to know what this bird is.
Mischief Part 2
Here is the doll that shares the spread with yesterday’s doll. This is the entire spread with the tab and quote: Yesterday evening, I went to the library to do a community art project called Celebrate, Honor, Remember. I didn’t do it….
One of my husband’s favorite quotes is “I didn’t do it and if I did, I wouldn’t admit it.” This quote shows up frequently in my work, usually to depict Mack, our long haired Chihuahua, when he’s done some mischief and wants to look innocent. Another Zombie doll
Can’t have a doll theme without a sailor doll!
Nun doll
I found the reference photo for this doll on Sktchy. It reminds me of a doll my aunt used to have. I thought it would make a fun zombie doll. Here is the link to see the post on Sktchy and the original photo…. http://sktchy.com/QDgVzH
Zombie doll from Sktchy

I saw her Little Deads in Art Journaling magazine and drooled. I took the class, and Leslie encouraged us to create our own characters.Continue reading “Zombie doll from Sktchy”
Zombie dolls
What do I do for fun? Lately, I have been working in this Teesha Moore style sketchbook. I started with a 22×30 sheet of watercolor paper and I actually painted it several years ago with watercolor on both sides. I had used Halloween kitchen towels as my inspiration, then cut the sheet up for theContinue reading “Zombie dolls”
Sketches from this evening’s anatomy sketch night
We had a bunch of real and faux bones and skeletons this evening for sketch night. I sketched the Chihuahua skeleton I found in Target. They look almost like dinosaurs, lol.
