Old man Winter Kitty….. he arrives officially on Friday.

Ice breaker

I had to get out of the house so I went to a local nursery to sketch. It is a very peaceful place and everyone there is so happy. Sketching there is like meditation.

The Draken, a reproduced genuine Viking ship, visited Long Island last week and we were there by chance, watching it come into the dock. Not sure what other stops they are doing in the US but I was glad I was there that day!

Bumble Kitty

Another mixed media kitty. I made a bunch of “starts” so I can just randomly pull from a pile and do what ever comes to my head.

Stretch kitty and last night’s sketches

Another kitty done with recycled materials…. Our sketch club went to a small nature area last night. It’s a town park that is geared toward wildlife. Lots of wild flowers.
