Last night, I opened a window a bit to let in fresh air. John, Chloe and Mack were in a coma. Chloe’s snores are pretty loud…Mack is still have sinus trouble poor thing…. Around midnight…. That sketch pretty much sums it up. The howls were very disconcerting. There is something primal about how we reacted.Continue reading “AEDM Day 16 – Watch dog FAIL”

AEDM Days 14/15
I zonked out early yesterday and I forgot to post. I was working on some sketches yesterday that I don’t want to share yet, but I thought of a new themed sketchbook that I will probably start after I finish my Christmas cards. Another task that I tackled yesterday, in my bullet journal, was myContinue reading “AEDM Days 14/15”
AEDM Day 13- First Thanksgiving 2.0
I upgraded my First Thanksgiving design to add “menus” and then submitted it for posting to They Draw and Cook. I haven’t posted there in a long time and I originally intended to do a map but it segued into a Feast. I am still wanting to do the map. Researching foods for the firstContinue reading “AEDM Day 13- First Thanksgiving 2.0”
AEDM DAY 11
Happy Veteran’s Day to those who served for our country. I am still working on that food project but it’s in a messy stage right now so it isn’t quite feeling photogenic. However, I am posting a rare glimpse into my morning portrait sketchbook. I don’t post these every day because they aren’t meant toContinue reading “AEDM DAY 11”
Art in Progress AEDM Day 8
Taking a break from holiday stuff…. Here is an example of how I start my pet portraits…I do a sketch to lay out how I want the pet to look. Then I sort of play around where he would look best on the page. I usually photo copy the sketch so can play around withContinue reading “Art in Progress AEDM Day 8”
AEDM Days 6 & 7/Commissions
For the past few days I have been working on holiday stuff. I forgot to post yesterday but creating can be intense work. I may cutContinue reading “AEDM Days 6 & 7/Commissions”
AEDM Day 4
I am working on another project and this is my sketch. I have already scanned it and I will load it into Procreate. I will then turn this sketch into something digital… Stay tuned….
AEDM Day 3
I worked on a couple of things today but I didn’t think you wanted to see some boring prepped boards so this is from my morning routine. 2 boxes for the weekly is done and the little green guy is a blob exercise I do every morning. I am also including my Sketch Design RepeatContinue reading “AEDM Day 3”
AEDM Day 2
I have had a busy day today. It was a gorgeous day here by Jensen Beach. It’s been windy all day and the wind brought in cooler weather. We opened all the windows. It won’t last long. In a couple of days it will probably be around 80 again but we’ll take what we canContinue reading “AEDM Day 2”
Art Every Day Month
It’s November, again. Last November we were packing to move to Florida so anything that I regularly did this time of year went right out the window. Usually I followed Inktober with Art Every Day Month. I didn’t last year. I am settled at the moment in our garage. We had plans to build aContinue reading “Art Every Day Month”
