It was a beautiful Spring day. Many people came outside to enjoy the warming sun, birds singing and the cherry blossoms in the air. This series of postcards were inspired by a Lesson in Carla Sonheim’s 2021 Year Long Class.

This series of postcards were inspired by a Lesson in Carla Sonheim’s 2021 Year Long Class. There are 4 total which I will be posting over the next couple of days. Kurt, Carrie and Sally decided that they wanted to go on an Adventure. Carrie’s dog, Melville and Kurt’s kitty, Boomer, joined them.
Cloudwalker
Cloudwalker loves playing with the Snow and Frost Faeries. He loves to use his wings to make strong blizzards. He’s sad because winter is over. Argyle
Argyle lives with a little old lady in a house built on stilts, at the edge of a marsh. His best friends are seagulls and killdeer.
Elliot
Elliot is a rock bird. His beak is designed to crush rocks for nest building. Elliot wants to work in construction as a bricklayer.
Chester
Chester is a large chicken who wants to lose weight. He eats fruits and vegetables and he runs once a day.
Norma Jean
Norma Jean is a big-eared mountain cow. She’s a great climber, loves the sun, and hanging out with mountain goats and burros in the Grand Canyon.
Figment
Figment is another imaginary creature, so for you model horse folks that follow me, Figment isn’t meant to be anatomically correct….she’s just another of the many creatures that wander the pages of my sketchbooks….and started as a random mark on the page….
