Here are some more pages from my tiny sketchbook…..
And it is in the mail with time to spare. I really enjoyed this project and I hope the people who visit it in person at the Brooklyn Art Library will like it, too.
Here is the cover and over the next few posts I’ll share the many spreads that it took to complete this sketchbook.
I decided to go with Chihuahuas since we have two and I needed a change from cats. Many of the tiny portraits are of Chloe and Mack, our fur babies, but many were also inspiration from the Sktchy App.

I am working on the Tiny Sketchbook Project for The Sketchbook Project, a library in Brooklyn that houses thousands of sketchbooks.
I have worked on cats for so long that I began a 100 day project of sketching chihuahuas to give myself a break. That segued into doing Chi’s for the Tiny Sketchbook Project. The book is almost complete and I will be mailing it out shortly. I will be scanning and posting all the spreads but in the meantime, here’s a teaser….the pencil gives you an idea of the scale of this sketchbook. I love working tiny!
