Good afternoon!! Todays prompt is wander. Mack and Lucy’s favorite. They are constantly on the look out for an open exterior door. Lucy is an escape artist and we have to be ever vigilant to ensure she doesn’t sneak out. Mack just wants to wander and pee on everything outside the house to set upContinue reading “Inktober 2023 Day 11”

Inktober Day 9
Good Evening! Before I move on to today’s prompt, I just want to point out that my Inktober/Drawlloween sketches and drawings maybe aren’t as polished as some of the ones that are on Instagram. I have been doing mine daily and I have been trying to put a time limit on them because I haveContinue reading “Inktober Day 9”
Inktober Day 6
Good day folks! To catch you up from yesterday, my desktop appears to be running ok today except for the issue that the wallpaper isn’t working and I am looking at a blank screen. It won’t even load any of my photos, which is strange. I’ll have to about that one…sigh. Today’s Inktober prompt isContinue reading “Inktober Day 6”
Inktober Day 5
What a frustrating evening trying to do this post. My Mac is hosed up and I can’t use it because I lost power in the middle of doing some research which caused my Adobe software to not be able to shutdown properly. Now it’s all hosed because Adobe is a memory vampire. Good thing IContinue reading “Inktober Day 5”
Inktober 2023 Day 4 – Introducing Lucy
Inktober Day 4. The Prompt is Dodge. Today’s Inktober prompt created a little bit of stumper at first because I wasn’t sure how I would portray that. Then I thought of all the times that our Chihuahua puppy, Lucy, dodged Mack to keep him from getting her bones and the inspiration hit me. I didContinue reading “Inktober 2023 Day 4 – Introducing Lucy”
Dog Children and Grieving
Today is the first day that I have been able to sit down and type this. On Monday, January 30, 2023, our beloved Chloe moved on to the Rainbow Bridge. John and I are still trying to make sense of this. One day she was normal and the next, we’re saying good-bye. She was onlyContinue reading “Dog Children and Grieving”
Mixed Media/Collage
Well, it turns out that the Inchie challenge was only 11 days, not 12. I was surprised when I pulled up emails Saturday morning and there was no prompt. Well that was a bummer because the Inchie challenge was fun. I’ll probably keep 2×2 squares with me to work on when I am out ofContinue reading “Mixed Media/Collage”
Live Critter Sunday
The “posse” came up to my desk and gave me the “eye.” They also smacked my legs. I have no idea what they wanted because they already had their dinner. I got down on the floor beside them to play with them. Then John and I took them for a walk which seemed to makeContinue reading “Live Critter Sunday”
Live critter Sunday
I have so many photos of real animals, especially of Chloe and Mack, that I think I’ll make Sundays a real creature day. Today’s photo is of Mack. He’s hiding under the end table because Chloe and Mack needed baths. Chloe went first so Mack ran for cover.
Friendly Faces Day 27
Today’s prompt is “bashful” and I thought Chloe needed a turn since Mack’s portrait was done last week. Chloe doesn’t like to be photographed. As soon as she sees a cell phone she closes her eyes or looks away, lol.
