I am a little behind in posting my sketches. Here’s my sketch done in a new park in Patchogue during this past Wednesday evening’s sketch night with my sketch group.
Here’s are mixed media critters that I did on wood. The chick is a character. He didn’t quite come out like I sketched him. This guy took on a whole different persona and much to my delight, his own personality….the second photo is an elephant and it’s amusing how many people think he looks sad. Both of these critters came from original sketches I did in my sketchbooks.
we had a beautiful weekend in Snow Hill, MD. Here are my paintings from that event. Two sold!
Birthday sketches, my cake from this evening and my cup a Java from this morning at breakfast at Flo’s.
Tugboat in Port Jeff NY, it started to rain so the raindrops are part of the sketch….:not sure what that woolly covering is all about. Sometimes when living on Long Island, you forget that it is an island we live on….like Roy Schieder quotes on Jaws
Hooper: Well, uh, it doesn’t make much sense for a guy who hates the water to live on an island…..
Brody: It’s only an island if you look at it from the water.
Yesterday’s sketch at the Grange with my Sketch Club
Tonight’s sketch at Bodies and Baked goods …..
This is Flo’s…..a Great South Bay summer spot located in Blue Point, NY……still waiting for the weather to warm up…..this was sketched yesterday.
This was sketched on what used to be a boarding school for wealthy kids, it’s now part of St John’s university. I believe these steps were known as the Senior Steps.
